PSA - Do not use the Astartes Overhaul 3.0 mod
Just so nobody else falls victim to this garbage mod.

It sets weapons that cannot be cleared if you remove the mod. So it permanently locks you out if you uninstall it.

Stay away from this crap. Unless you like losing your hundred hour account because some scumbag modder needs every class with a shield and a main gun.

This is common with all mods and nobody can blame the mod maker for downloading and using their mods when they give a clear warning about the risks to the user’s save file.

That mod is very popular btw.

Just verify your files and that should put your game to vanilla, or at least it used to as it will overwrite any files the mod overwrote when you installed it.

This doesn't work. Neither does putting all your weapons to what they are.

Read my words - The mod gives you weapons you cannot remove from class slots. This breaks the game if you ever want to go back to playing normally.

Yes, it's popular so it must be good!

...oh wait, the Nexus forum is full of complaints about quality. And bugs. And being locked out of accounts.

You aren't terribly bright if popularity = competence to you.

Garbage mods claim another victim. If only we got more content to assuage the long bouts of stagnation.

Right, and the mod warns that it will change your save file before downloading it, thus it is not the fault of the mod maker.

nobody who downloads mods can blame the maker of the mods.

Yep, but if there's no fix for it. Can you follow the logic or are you just here to try to troll(pathetic)?

no fix for what?

the mod gave clear warning what it will do. nobody who downloads it can complain about the results if they end up having to reinstall the game. this is how all modding works in all games.

im sure the mod maker thinks its comical that anyone who downloaded their mod is mad at them about it.

Have you tried reinstalling the game?

Maybe without the child troll we can have a conversation.

Yes. The mod creates a server side issue of incompatibility.

this is their best option lol

the mod literally explains what it will do to the save file. im sure the mod maker isnt concerned about people being upset who didnt read the warning on the page.

no. the mod has no effect on the server. it modified the user’s save file.

Yes. The mod creates a server side issue of incompatibility.

If that is the case, then unless you can find a mod that fixes it, contacting the devs for a fix may be needed.
