Nerf the grenade launcher already!
We all know it's laughably OP, I wonder how it made it through QA/testing. I have enough getting staggerd by some idiot who somehow made it to 25 only because of GL and having my fun stolen. In fact I doubt even GL spammers have fun using it, they just want it easy.

Devs do not read it here.

But hopefully they do something about GL indeed.
The devs have stated that they want to nerf it, but do not seem to agree on how to nerf it.

IMO, the issue is the infinite ammo from the tactical's perk, if they made the perk give back 2 or even no grenades, it would be more balanced.

But i can already see people crying over the nerf and saying that the game is "literally unplayable".

I mean nade launcher is the only reason I would give the tactical the light of day, once that's gone I'm not touching it again, playing lethal one majoris takes 3 nades / 11 to put them in a finisher stage so that's 4 majoris per 30 sec which really isn't that broken in comparison the heavy plasma incinerator at full charge that can practically one shot multiple majoris at a time on lethal yet nobody complains about that
Thinking heavy plasma incinerator comes close to GL is another level of copium. I'm glad when that ♥♥♥♥ is gone. Tactical has other good options. Most bolt weapons just suck in general looking at the way the game is designed so give them some more love and Tactical is good to go.

A heavy plasma incinerator is at a level where I prefer to not use it and stick to the bolter because it makes lethal a bit too easy the fact I can 1 shot an entire group of majoris is insane meanwhile tact is locked to a 30sec window they need to work around. But as you said bolters are garbage and it's 5/7 of their arsenal removing the only decent bolter from the equation basically only gives the plasma as a 'real' option

Instead of constantly nerfing ♥♥♥♥ for us that play lethal just to quickly grind coins or waste time and ignore people struggling on lower difficulties they should make the other weapons seem like more of a viable option. We're space marines not guardsmen, space hulk did the same wet paper towel weapons thing and that game died real quick when the top % of players got bored.

Realistically the top % of players are going to keep playing anyway and I doubt that if we were to quit that it would actually make a dent in the player numbers. If it bothers people that much, make a private group or don't use the weapon and nerf yourself by whatever means you want.

The heavy plasma incinerator as powerful as it is doesn't affect other players. The grenade launcher turns other players into pinballs bouncing back and forth. I'm sure it's great fun for you, but not so much for them. It needs adjusted.

yeah, i couldnt care less if some noob uses the gl if it didnt actively get melee people killed. its a troll weapon for people who cant play the game

As an assault main in pvp and pve i strongly agree with you on this one. Sadly they didn't nerf it big time for 4 month now ;>, it gets indeed pretty cringy if the GL Clown is involved.

I would completely agree to nerf GL. But in exchange for rework of Chaos missions/armor system regen - staying in cover for HALF(!) of minute is not a healthy game play loop.

They just need to reduce maximal capacity to something like 10 and give it a fixed restoration rate of 1 per minute.

That will bring it in line with other versions of the gun giving it decent extra AOE clear (because those 30-40 extra grenades per game is a lot comparing to the amount of normal grenades available for the same period) in exchange for a bit lower primary damage.

Noobs will cry of course, but there are also other easier ways to play that are not broken, like heavy (probably not bolter as those can't aim, but at least the other options).
