On 7800xt and 5700x3d in 1440p perfomance is very poor, dips below 60 even with upscale.

My System:
GPU: RX 6800 XT current Driver 24.12.1
CPU: Ryzen 7 7700X latest Chipset Driver 6.10.17.152 from 2024-10-21
RAM: 2x 16GB DDR5 AMD EXPO on 6000Mhz
Storage: Samsung 980 Pro and Samsung 990 Pro (here is SM2 installed)
Play on 1440p with a 165hz Monitor, set the Framelimit to 90 FPS. according to the Adrenaline Software I get an average FPS rate of 78,5 while everything is on High/Ultra.

Use frame gen

I play at 1440p/highest settings on everything

System is
6950xt
5800x3d
Firecuda 530 2tb ssd
32gb 3600mhz CL16 ram

Pre last patch frame rate was 85-100fps depending on how much going on at the time which dropped to 70-90fps after last patch, I turned frame gen on and get 115-135fps now same settings

I have a 4070ti and i7 13700k. I play at 1440p.

DLSS on set to native and frame gen on. Everything as high as it will go or maxed except I turn off motion blur because I don't particularly care for it.

I get 120fps steady no dips or stutters.
14900k
32GB @ 6400
RTX 3090

Running in native 4K with the 4K texture pack and all settings cranked nets around 45fps. It did well in most games at 1440p ultrawide, but now that I've switched to a 4K monitor, it's beginning to show its age.
i7-9700K, RTX 3070 Ti, 32 gb RAM, installed on M2 SSD (Kingston Fury), Win 10 - running 1440p on almost highest settings (dropped by 1 step only when got warnings about not enough VRAM).
average before patch on Termination map: 86 fps, lowest: 81 fps, highest: 92 fps, no stuttering
average after patch on Termination map: 79 fps, lowest: 70 fps, highest: 84 fps, no stuttering
average after patch with DLSS ON on Termination map: 96 fps, lowest: 92 fps, highest: 107 fps, no stuttering
i have performed clean GPU drivers installation and deleted all game cache after latest patch.

EDIT:
one more thing - my GPU is tweaked with my custom configuration in MSI Afterburner, CPU and RAM in BIOS

I just couldn't sacrifice the amount of loss in framerate to justify playing at 4k 🙈

I can only tolerate it for single-player experiences. For everything else, I rely on the recommended settings from the NVIDIA app. Works out well :)

Fair enough, I bet like you say it was definitely pushing decent numbers at 1440p
RTX 4070 / 7950x running fine - 4k textures installed ~100 - 120 fps with diss quality.

Edit: res @1440p

Interesting, maybe I will give it try as well. So far have turned frame gen off.

If you do turn frame gen on set a fps cap in options. Works better in this particular game than leaving it unlimited for some reason. 30 for 60 and 60 for 120.

i7-1300kfth gen + rtx 4080 +32gb RAM i get 170 but HARD stutters

Make sure frame generation is on. There is also a bug in the graphics settings. For some reason if you lower the render resolution to Ultra Performance, save the settings then change it back to Native and save again, it will boost FPS. I went from 38-55 FPS on low settings to a consistent 80-90 FPS on Ultra settings.

GPU : RX 7700 XT

CPU : Ryzen 7 5800X

32GB Ram

1440p (2k) 165Hz Monitor

2070 Super
16Gb RAM
1440p

45-55FPS on maxed out settings without DLSS. No stutters, nothing. Game runs great.
