Tzaangor Enlightened
I hate these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ birds with a passion. I cannot iterate how much I hate that every operation I try and play is gated behind the worst match up my Emperor-blessed corneas have seen. I can't have fun until I enter the endless crucible that is Tzaangor Enlightened and his cadre of antifun ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I would give Gulliman literally anything to make parries work on them. I'd tolerate a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Eldar if I had to.

I hate that the start of every game of Operations is him lounging in his gaming chair while I have to enact a 1,304 step plan to kill a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ disc. I have no idea who starts with what in their patrols/hordes despite having +1,000 hours in this game, but I do know that Tzaangor Enlightened starts with a "♥♥♥♥ you" engine. I know this because inside that engine is a magical device that removes all the fun and potential from my Operation until it is destroyed. This disc does not give a single ♥♥♥♥ what my plans are. Krak grenade? Gonna survive. Plasma Incinerator? Gonna survive. Targeted with every gun and auspex scan? Inconsequential. Even separated from its horde and slowly kited over the course of 50 minutes resulting in the death of half my squad? Four more appear again. I'm convinced the reveal for the next Primarch is just going to be this Tzaangor Enlightened.

"Oh he's easy to deal with" people will say. These people are cultists being controlled by said Tzaangor Enlightened as a propaganda effort. Slaanesh doesn't even appear in the game because this enemy is so devoid of any joy or pleasure - that it would kill them permanently.

I can't even look forward to the tide of antibiotic resistant super bugs that are coming in 2050 because I know Tzaangor Enlightened will survive it. Aliens could release a super virus that targets biological and electronic systems and every file that makes up Tzaangor Enlightened would be untouched.

lmao, I can feel this post. Played solo operations cuz apparently in my 10d world country it is forbidden to coop and my god these dudes are super annoying. If you play solo with bots enemies prioritise you while bots just do bot stuff. So the flying dudes could literally do their spin-to-win shield move across the map just to stagger you. Now imagine there are multiple of them. Now imagine you are engaging in a melee with another annoying mob (actually the same but melee). And on top of that reliquary map where you also have to press right buttons in a right order while getting smoked by a dragon.
Yep, agreed. They are a nightmare to target and if there's more than one of them attacking you, it's goodbye.
get a good sniper, or plasma user. im sure there are other counters to them, those are just the 2 that ive seen so far

tzaangor enlightened are a perfect dodge and perfect parry/block skill check

perfect dodge their attacks and gunstrike them to oblivion, perfect parry their occasional blue flash/regular attacks and gunstrike them to oblivion

when facing multiple, remember that back dodge (s + space bar while camera is facing forwards by default) gives a quickstep for all classes, allowing you to perfect dodge twice with no recovery gap that you might get clipped by

that is all

(or you can just cheese them and use multi melta heavy)

> Devs: "hmmm it looks like people are avoiding missions with the Thousand Sons because that faction is objectivelly unfun and annoying to play against"
> Devs then fix the issue by making a few adjustments to the overall gameplay experience and making some of their units less bullet spongy
> Devs: "but hey, what if we design the most annoying enemy possible in the game and put it in the Thousand Sons? What could possibly go wrong?"

And thus the Tzaangor Enlightened was born

My dude its kinda hard to do that when you are being jumped by half a dozen Rubric Marines, dozens of tzaangors, dozens of cultists, all the while theres rainbow puke all over the screen.

chaos is stupid to fight because this game is designed around an awesome and fun melee system and chaos just doesnt melee so it turns into a very mediocre shooter

it is not the game's fault you decided to stand in the middle of the room during a massive wave instead of seek cover or fall back to an appropriate choke point you can exploit

there also wouldnt be rainbow puke if you actually perfect dodged that warpflamer floor aoe instead of trying to roll spam away from it the moment it appears

again, if youre faced with multiple attacks you need to dodge within seconds of each other, backdodge does quickstep on every class which gives you two dodges with almost no recovery inbetween as opposed to roll spam

Uuuh, no, it is precisely the game's fault? The game is activelly trying to do that at all times, its almost the whole point of the game lmao.

The only problem I still have with them is that the frisbee move is really hard to get right.

I just wanted to make a bokpost but I'm glad to see others hate these beaky-bastards.
I feel okey for theirs move sets. It's probably have to be so unnoying. But what baffels is their damage... So you add an enemy that kinda like to harras players... But why his atacks damage MORE (red attack with disk) then hellbrutes strikes?

so its the games fault you yourself refuse to utilize positioning and cover against an enemy with superior firepower? i dont even know what to say to that honestly, have fun i guess

well flying disc is hard foe if you let it fly around, this why it is elite of its kind. but, 2 charged plasma shots, sometimes just one, drops them. Focus them first if you think they are most dangerous, (immediately when they appear or aim them when you see them hanging around). Either charged plasma pistol shot, tactical Q + nuke, or have sniper and headshot the moment it is still. Krak nades also do wonder, toss one at it as it swings past you and you are done.

they are not problems if you have solutions to deal with them. They also reward you with most satisfying execution moves, venting all that aggression on that XD

I hate chaos enemies but for a different reason, most of them wont bleed, and just puke fairy dust when executed...
