You can make do with anything if you know what you're doing, I just want the grenade launcher to be great again
Problem was about broken synergies GL had with some of the perks for Tactical class, which unintentionally elevated the efficiency of the weapon to absurd heights, above and beyond all logically acceptable levels.
Considering that Tactical is the only class with access to this weapon, i imagine the thought process was:
option 1 - nerf the gun to make it balanced without hurting other weapons or any classes
option 2 - nerf the class to make GL balanced and hurt all other Tactical's weapons in the process
They went with gun nerf and im okay with this, because again, Tactical is the only one with access to GL at the moment, so he can make it work and can stil benefit from it with his Auspex and endless ammo. It's worse than before but not really useless.
If this weapon would be attached to Vanguard for example, instead of Tactical, this entire GL saga wouldn't even take place, and weapon could probably still exists in it's pre nerf state.
So our Auspex boy was a true villain all along.
