armor customisation

I understand that there is already a lot of armor options in the game. Every class has several pieces of armor to customize and several options per piece. Just sad that the customization stops at the mode you play. I would like to play the pve mode as an iron warrior, and while there is some stuff for it in hte game (emblems and a primary and secondary color) there is no armor changes in the pve mode. In pvp you can switch to iron warrior as a heavy. Is there a reason why these customisations are limited to the pvp? like the pve missions are already fought with a lot of friendly astartes chapters side by side. And you can make the case that some astartes from heretical chapters have abandoned their parent chapter to fight on their own and try to claw some good will back.

tldr, sad that the pvp heretic chapters aren't all implemented in the pve armor customization.

Lore reasons. Because you play as Space Marines against Tyranids and Iron Warriors is Chaos Space Marines so. The same reason why you can't play as Chaos in Space Marine 1.

If you think about it every class is limited to a set of options. The customisation is very limited because of it. There's 9 helmets, 25 left pauldrons, 25 right pauldrons, 14 backpacks, 17 chest pieces, 19 left arms, 14 right arms, 15 left legs and 20 right legs that are class specific. the only parts that I didn't count were vanguard and sniper helmets, legs and chest pieces as the other parts seems to have the exact same armour type across all classes meaning they should logically be usable by all of them.

Every class is missing out on over half of the customisations available in the game at all times. This game doesn't have a lot of options until the armour class restrictions have been removed.
