Wings of Flame perfect dodge doesnt work on extremis or above?

Hello Brothers. I've been experimenting with the Assault builds and was also trying to do Take to the Skies Ordeal (200 Perfect Dodge Using Jump Pack Dash) but I come across a strange issue. Wings of Flame perks guarantee that any Jump Pack Dash will work as a perfect dodge but I noticed it only works on Majoris enemies. It doesnt seem to proc on Extremis or above. Is it a bug or intended or am I doing something wrong? How was your experience with it?

its actually pretty fun if you havent tried the perk yet. couple it with aerial grace, commitment and gun strike damage team perk its a whole new and interesting way to play Assault. at least when it works.

Tbh I overlooked that perk so I completed ordeal without using it.
- Some occasional dodges here and there during gameplay
- Farmed a part of it in private on majoris with bots, so other players wouldn't interrupt the process
- Finished left overs in assault trial at the end (where you don't have access to perks, but you are 1 on 1 with tyranid warrior).

Not a fan of dodging with jump pack and having a build around it not allowing to pick really useful perks (for my personal taste) + it has no advantage in comparison with regular dodge. So I didn't bother much during ordeal farming and won't use Jump Pack Dodge anymore with current state of things.
The only 2 perks I've picked for "Take to the Skies" - "Aerial Grace" and "Commitment".
To summarize: if the perk is bugged, you still can do this farming it in private or in trial if you're not comfortable with Jump Pack Dodge build.

It is not bugged. It makes every dodge into a perfect dodge. You will notice it only if you are bad at making perfect dodges. It doesnt however turn a completely missing blow into a dodge. In otherwords. just because a tyranid is jumping with their swords at you, if the blow is clearly missing and you dash with the pack. Its not gonna be a perfect dodge because its not even a dodge. It needs to be a dodge to count. As in it needs to be done infront of a hit that is actually about to kinect. Not just around enemies that are swingin or shootin.

It works, but not if done twice on the same enemy back to back. You can get around 10-15 perfect dodges/refills on a group of 5 warriors if done right.

I also noticed it does neither count nor restores a charge if the enemy goes to execution state due to damage it deals.

You are doing it wrong then. It works to me perfectly. You need to dodge an attack that is actually about to hit you. not just dash when attack is remotely coming at your direction.

Well they are usually all over my face when I try it tbh. I wait until last sec then press q. It sometimes dont restore the charge nor proc a gun strike.
