Anyone noticed the Research Centre?

In the left shoulder decals there are 4 new ones that are locked behind research of factions, when you hover over it can take you to the research centre where there's a new purple token and a bunch of characters, does anyone know what this is and how to unlock the stuff?

i noticed it but i dont know how to unlock any of it. maybe play the campaign again?

I'm guessing it'll be the next battle barge expansion planned for sometime next year and they accidentally put those symbols in game prematurely.
