Patch and Server Issues
So having listened to some of the conversations online I'm wondering if the problems are more isolated to the US servers. European players were commenting that the game is almost better than ever... but all the US players I've read (including myself) are experiencing the following:
Massive matchmaking issues;
Severe connectivity and connection quality issues;
Significant lag or lack of sync with reload, dodge, gun strikes, and executions;
Hits, whether ranged or melee, on enemies only appear to be registering every other or every third shot.... I personally dumped like 20 uncharged plasma shots into a basic melee drone Nid in order to kill it;
Melee attacks seem slower, like character is moving with lead weights or through sludge, making combos more difficult;
Ranged weapons that utilize single semi auto shots like plasma rifle aren't firing in time with/in sync with trigger pull;
Interactive explosive environment objects taking multiple shots on target to explode or refusing to explode at all, and etc.
I'm not sure if this is predominantly a server issue within the US due to the extreme server load or this is just a cascade of issues with the new patch but the game is borderline unplayable for myself and many others in the current state. EVERYTHING that was included in this patch as cosmetic or UI features seem like they'd be awesome if all the rest of these issues were taken care of. By far this has been my favorite game since release and I'd love to be able to enjoy playing it in my limited free time again.

Anyone having similar issues? Any European players experiencing the same problems?

I'm not sure if it's region based, but I am NA myself as well with these issues. Saber put out a statement on their socials and are at least aware of these issues at least. Said they are developing fixes

European guy here, day one i didn't have any problem, 17/04 can't find partner more than 1/6 times ( inferno difficulty) déco/ reco doesn't change anything, loading takes a very long time (ssd), also connectivity to the serv issues. Games get white screen too, seem to be random

I'm in Michigan, USA.

Before patches, I was running everything very smoothly with my Nvidia 3080 playing at 2k resolution with 32 gig of memory. Was getting in high 70's framerate on quality dlss. Now, it's like 10-35fps same settings after patch.

I wondering if it's in part due to the 4k texture pack not syncing correctly or/also them having major server issues. Lagging, low framerate, etc.

Dont let the usual whiteknight liars gaslight you, eurobros and even asian players have the exact same problem.

And there is even more problems you haven't covered like:

- The game freezing up a LOT, especially at the start of a game (probably some shader compiling)
- Weapons shooting when they shouldn't (like after a perfect parry, if you try to gunstrike your gun will some time shoot one before gunstriking (a problem clearly tied to server struggling to follow the action)
- Some time gunstrike won't refresh your contested life (or it will, then the health is rolled back to contested)
- Some time plasma weapon will just shoot instead of charge their attacks.
- Your character getting Massive, HEAVY stunlocks from majoris+ after hitting you with a random attack.
- Melta Charges some time just don't want to explode.
- Completely inconsistent spawning (in Absolute) that will some time just throw 20+ warriors at you out of nowhere).
- Game crashing almost every time you load out of a game.

And that's just from the top of my head.

Like I wrote with 6.0. Wait for the next patch 7.1 it seems now tradition that the first version of content patch creates a lot of new problems in need of fixing.

incorrect. for people in the usa where i live there are no connection issues.
Nope, connection - issues here in yurop too...

not sure about the whiteknight response you're referring to. I was assuming that it was probably due to number of servers and load on those servers in north america being heavier. i would expect it to have had similar issues in asia as well.
