the last thread blaming the devs for peoples personal pc issues literally just finished an hour ago, and we have another. wild lol
I have changed settings recently but this isnt related. Its an issue loading into the game which makes it feel like lag but it isnt. You move super slow and it carries over even after leaving mission. Going back to main menu fixes it but you end up having to do this every 2-3 missions.
And what is the duplex settings?
so speed/Duplex is:
in your network adapter.
When you right click the windows icon, on your task bar.
You will get a list, go to device manager.
In it you will see network adapter.
under it you should see Intel R either net controller.
Right click that under advanced tab scroll till you find Speed/duplexer.
Click on its drop down.
It shows various speeds for your internet moden.
The higher the speed, the more the output the moden can have.
(Example I have a 1 gig network so my systems duplex is set to 2 gig option.)
Also try launching the game from the desktop icon.
Not from the steam app.
Make sure to run it as the Admin.
If this still isn't helping try updating your Nvidia or AMD/ATX drivers depending on your system.
Also just to make sure as Microsoft updated go to settings and under display turn off HDR its just a resource hog.
Hope this helps from what your describing it sounds like your disk is at 100%
Or your video card is struggling.
If it were a server issue,
people in your area would also experience it, and complain on the forums.
Last thing that may help is under video settings switch it to Balanced instead of dynamic or the more extreme performance settings
Thanks for the support, unfortunately that's exactly what I'm set to in both net and hdr so it doesnt seem to be that.
I'll try turning to running the game from the exe and see if I still have issues. Thing is I've ran into this on both my laptop and my gaming PC, both of which are new so its not like I'm using old equipment.
Tbh I just think its this game being poorly optimised, and while I do hope that it is fixed I honestly don't feel like it will be fixed any year soon.
For me, the most interesting part of the thread is the fact that every single person who responded stated that its your pc or internet, not the game, and yet your conclusion was to ignore everyone and claim its a game issue anyways. This forum is hilarious.
Lowbait needs to do one to his own threads and bait there instead. Albiet, low bait quality
also 3 guys responded, only you are saying its my PC/Net when it isn't at all - as I've followed all the "fixes" recommended, yet you dont seem able to give any yourself.
Plus out of the 3 guys who responded, 2 are clowns who comment every thread on discussions trying to bait and ban
womp womp
Lowbait strikes again.
Sorry the advise I gave didnt help brother. I know Nvidia is currently having an issue with drivers bricking pc's, and Microsoft last update just was a mess... I'm pretty sure its not your machines either. The work arounds should have given you some performance boost/made it less sluggish. Have you tried contact Sabers tech support team or put in a bug report if its happened to other players they can tell you a work around.
