I kinda wish this game had a fun heavy metal track
Hey Saber,

I'm not sure if you've noticed this but really good heavy metal artists like Symphony X don't really make as much money on their music as they used too. Additionally the kids and the 30 year old boomers that play these games yern for fun power metal anthems like Live and Learn from Sonic Adventure 2 and Rules of Nature from Metal Gear Rising. If it doesn't conflict with the grim dark setting, can we get some really cool boss anthems in the next game?

Thank you

I think Sabaton fits better.

Yeah, they probably do. My point is that these artists want money and the people want music. They're not making money off records anymore, so why not hire them in games?

if I had to guess I'd say money and rights issues are the most likely. just because a game developer or publisher COULD afford to hire an actual proper band doesn't mean they will shell out that much cash and it's entirely possible debates over who owns the copyrights for any newly composed music or how long the game can continue to use licensed music might seem unappealing on a product that isn't certain to be a financial success. of course this is assuming professional musicians that are actively touring are willing to sign deals to work on video game soundtracks in the first place.
I personally blast Fear Factory all day to this game. Give em a chance if you haven't.
I believe 40k lack iconic musical identity, if they got some original high gothic metal music with some pipe organ in it. That would be peak.
Darktide has an amazing soundtrack. Would fit in this game too I think.

No thanks.

They definitely need to make an iconic church choir metal banger soundtrack for sm3
Good idea. Then again I prefer the song to be official and an original song for the game

Yeah I think today they are in their 30. Pretty sure you are right.

It's a meme referring to 30 year olds who act like boomers.

Maybe not you, but I am still pretty sure most of the people calling others boomers don't even know what a boomer is.

It's a dumb meme, stop being obtuse.
