Is AMD the problem?
I got the game a few days ago. The first two times I got to play I had near perfect performance; no frame drops, no crashes, no lag. I enjoyed the optimisation very much.
Then I downloaded the latest driver for my 6900xt; since then I get a random crash every 10 or so minutes of gameplay. I can't bear it, I don't understand why this is happening and it seriously bothers me; because I understand enough to know something is wrong, but not enough to know why it is wrong.
I'm going to revert the update and update this post just as a piece of advice for AMD users.
♥♥♥♥ adrenalin.

Logically, if the only change was the gpu driver update, then it's that version of the drivers, and nothing else. I'd strongly advise you to revert to the previous drivers, 'cuz it sounds like the previous version worked perfectly, and delete your shader cache, so that way, any shaders that were made with the new drivers are removed, which removes another potential issue.

I'm using a 7900XT and 7800X3D. No problems here. maybe there was an issue with the new driver install. Just go back to the older version, no reason to take every new update.

Update. I'm a dummy, I've researched a bit on the problem. Tried a few things and still the same.
The log is as follows.
Went to the AMD repository to check for available updates to downgrade; found out adrenalin had a newer version of the driver and installed that. No luck.
Verified game files, steam found a corrupted file and restored it. No luck.
I found in yet another thread about the same issue a comment saying that XMP profiles caused a conflict.
For my luck and your concern, it did work fine after I set it to Auto.
I have 32GB 3600MHz installed in a B450M, since the chipset is a little old I figured I could load a profile to sync the slots properly a few days ago. Ends up that was the problem all along and I feel assured I can keep playing without issues.

Glad you figured it out.
I thought my system was bad for this game, turns out my GPU wasn't getting enough power which caused my GPU to crash. Currently running a 5800x and a RX 7600 OC Edition w/ FSR Quality, High settings. Current driver 25.3.1. my max FPS is around the 150 mark, but drops to as low as 70-80. Edit: I also use Frame gen.
