2. The best way to do with is with a melta on a freshly marked pack.
3. You can do this in a single mission with bots. Just hold block and soak up every normal attack from a group of 3 melee majoris. Dodge orange attacks. Bots suck at melee so they shouldnt take much of the heat.
2) Pretty sure harder difficulties spawn more enemies, but Tyranid missions tend to have more blobs you can target while Chaos missions tend to have more spread out enemies
3) You have to hold the shield up and get hit on it (hold parry button instead of pressing it). Hormagaunts and whip/bone sword Warriors are significantly more common than Tzaangors, and a private lobby with bots or two friends who would be willing to help means you can more reliably sit in a corner and farm melee hits compared to two random people
2) As others have mentioned, either a melta gun or a grenade launcher. I can't recall if killing a tyranid warrior who then synapse kills all other minors enemies counts towards the ordeal too, but worth a shot trying.
3) The best way to farm this is on solo Decapitation. In the part when the Hive Tyrant comes, don't press the demolition button, as the wave that comes is infinite, then go to a random chosen corner and wait for the small gaunts to come at you, just hold the C button to raise the shield and wait some time to accumulate shield blocks. At a certain point a lot of spore mines will spawn, so make sure to have the banner ready for armor regen, and potentially with the perk that creates a damage field around it.
best of luck
