So if I do prestige I get a new perk point?
Or is it a unique perk? Will it make my character more powerful?

Btw you dont choose anything, each perk is set per Prestige 1, Prestige 2 etc

The idea of locking a special perk behind prestige sounds awful.
Either these perks are not powerful and thus totally pointless, or they are indeed effective and they'll just make people that have already farmed the game even more powerful, while locking a power gain behind a massive amount of grind for the new players.

Prestige should never give any power benefit, it should just be cosmetic stuff.

I'm sure that's the case. Seeing as how they added "challenges" months after release instead of at launch.

It's all a cheap hook to keep the ave player count as high as possible.

Lol you think they would be able to read. FOR ANYONE WHO DOESN"T KNOW, you can just go and look yourself at the post that they have shared about what is upcoming for this game.
