Multi melta nad melta work like shotguns. I'd like to see something more spicy - autocannon for heavies :D
I don't know much about the lore, but having another option for shotgun type weapon besides melta would be nice. After all, we have different of options for the other types like rifles, carbines and pistols.

I think that's all, I'm probably missing some though. Not including non-Primaris armour patterns, like Centurions or Indomitus Terminators.
As for pre-primaris weapons, there's boatloads and to be honest no real reason they can't be used, it's not like they suddenly stopped working and if older helmets are being used then guns would be too.
They could also add heavy-class specific weapon variants of existing guns. The weapons the 'Heavy' class uses are all connected to the power packs, but the original push-fit versions of the kits those weapons were on had magazines instead. This could allow for the heavy class to have the power-pack connected guns with more ammo, and allow other classes like tactical access to the bigger guns with less ammo. Likewise allow the heavy class to use the lighter guns like the melta rifle but with double ammo or something.
I could see the Vanguard class wielding the Astartes Shotgun too.
In the lore meltas and multi meltas don't work like shotguns at all, they were made this way in this game tho, that is why I don't think having another shotgun type weapon would make too much sense since we already have them. Instead I'd like to see weapons that are different than anything else we already have in this game.
Bolters are STILL peashooters (Relic tier should NOT be requirement to make them viable)
The powerfist still feels useless.
The next weapon is related to the salamanders, it's the flamethrower. It was implemented in the game (in the data) with the last update (for multiplayer), so it's already there and already accessible with a mod...
In addition, it seems to me that it was announced, but I'm not sure. :o
