New weapons in future updates?
I wonder if i´m the only one craving for more weapons to mess around with. More specifically more weapon types. I kinda feel like almost all bolter weapons feel kinda the same, or that they are some variation of semi/full auto. I would love to see some type of shotgun/close range weapon besides the fusion rifle, wich is more like a burst flamethrower. Thoughts? really happy with all the announcements from saber tho, can´t wait for that new pvp map and that new OP

Also, really miss the energy axe from the first SM, and would love to see a chain axe incorporated to meele arsenal. I know there´s the astartes mod, but i think these could be things the developer could properly add to the game

Multi melta nad melta work like shotguns. I'd like to see something more spicy - autocannon for heavies :D

I don't know much about the lore, but having another option for shotgun type weapon besides melta would be nice. After all, we have different of options for the other types like rifles, carbines and pistols.

For Primaris, the following weapons are seen on models but not ingame:
Absolver Bolt Pistol (Chaplain)
Accelerator Autocannon (Suppressors)
Assault Bolter (Inceptors) (ingame already, but not usable)
Bolt Pistol (Reiver version)
Boltstorm Gauntlet (Aggressors)
Combi weapons (Sternguard, Lieutenants)
Flame Gauntlet (Aggressors)
Grav Pistol (Techmarine)
Plasma Exterminator (Inceptors)
Power Axe (Secret Level)
Pyreblaster (Infernus Marines) (ingame already but only campaign)
Pyrecannon (Sternguard)
Pyre..pistol? (Can't remember which kits, but I'm fairly sure they exist.)

I think that's all, I'm probably missing some though. Not including non-Primaris armour patterns, like Centurions or Indomitus Terminators.
As for pre-primaris weapons, there's boatloads and to be honest no real reason they can't be used, it's not like they suddenly stopped working and if older helmets are being used then guns would be too.

They could also add heavy-class specific weapon variants of existing guns. The weapons the 'Heavy' class uses are all connected to the power packs, but the original push-fit versions of the kits those weapons were on had magazines instead. This could allow for the heavy class to have the power-pack connected guns with more ammo, and allow other classes like tactical access to the bigger guns with less ammo. Likewise allow the heavy class to use the lighter guns like the melta rifle but with double ammo or something.

The Deathwatch Frag Cannon for the Heavy would be pretty awesome. Hosing down gaunts and warriors with a mortar sized shotgun 👌

I could see the Vanguard class wielding the Astartes Shotgun too.

In the lore meltas and multi meltas don't work like shotguns at all, they were made this way in this game tho, that is why I don't think having another shotgun type weapon would make too much sense since we already have them. Instead I'd like to see weapons that are different than anything else we already have in this game.

You missed Lightning Claws.
but what about the shotgun on warhammer boltgun game? that´s straight up a bloter pump action shotgun, and it´s sick af.

In the roadmap, we are getting a new weapon in season 4.
Would rather they actually buff existing weapons first...
Bolters are STILL peashooters (Relic tier should NOT be requirement to make them viable)
The powerfist still feels useless.

The next weapon is related to the salamanders, it's the flamethrower. It was implemented in the game (in the data) with the last update (for multiplayer), so it's already there and already accessible with a mod...

In addition, it seems to me that it was announced, but I'm not sure. :o

Just mod the game. Did it right now and had a lot of fun. Except I spent like 80% of the time customizing armor.....
