Decimation event.
Complete 10 operation on any difficulty for a free can sword skin.

The even will last until January 20th.

No idea the even was going on until i jumped in to do a little pvp and checked the menu.

This is form official discord:
1.) PSA: to participate in the event, you need to have a PROS account
2.) Unfortunately, there is a bug with the event right now. Rest assured that we're fully working on it to fix it as soon as possible.

The bug may have already fixed and users who finished the 10 got the skin as far as I know. I'm only at 5 so we'll see.
It wasn't even counting the OPs originally.

Funny thing is, i cannot find anyone talking about this mini event, none of the space marine news youtubers where talking about it.

If i did not just so happen to check the in game news feed, i would have never known about it.

I do not use social media, i get my game news from steam or youtube.

If there was a bug they fixed it. I got mine today.

I didn't know about it either. I happened to see someone post a message about it on this board and went from there.

Just got my sword skin, it was a fun romp doing operations again, been doing only pvp lately, so having a reason to do operations again was fun. I even beat obelisk on lethal.

They really need to do Steam news for these things and not expect people to go to their own Saber forums. So many ppl would have come back for the 2x weekend a while back.

Did you beat it without dying once? That's the REAL challenge.

Yes actually, did not die once on my lethal obelisk run. I was sniper with the bolt sniper rifle.

AWESOME! That's my personal goal in every lethal match: try not to die. Wish you would get in-game rewards for that.

I've beaten all 6 original operations on lethal without dying. Although I did get downed couple times during boss fights. But getting downed is acceptable. It's actually dying where I'm like "nope, gotta restart and try again."
