Also if it would be intended trade-off it is strange how it mostly concerns people who prefer to toggle aim instead of holding.
I'm not gonna talk about whether this is good or bad design, I just want to point out that it is possible and can also be done in the nick of time when dodging a Carnifex charge.

This is a workaround I’ve seen posted and for some people I’m sure it works. For me at least, it would mean changing keybinds around just for one class (I have custom keybinds that wouldn’t allow me to change off toggle). Not to mention the muscle memory thing.
Thanks for the suggestion. This is essentially what I do, but it’s still clunky af.

Even if we say OK, lets just accept that heavy is outright better be played with hold and it is a design for some reason, it is not a very convenient to just go to settings and switch every time hold/toggle depending on the class played.
