they wont be changing it, nor should they.
Opinion noted.
Do it 6+ time come on, what a joke.
I did read that the WWZ system is somewhat infinite after reaching the last rank that gives a boost, so i wonder how that would work then, because generally not having all perks available for every Prestige level would be a stupid mechanic. So its also possible that Prestige is the same as in Deep Rock, you have to level your character again but you are staying with your perks.
if saber decides to bring wwz's prestige system into sm2 - i'm for it. it is exactly what i described.
imo an even better option would be kf2's prestige system, since it is purely cosmetic, but at this point i'm fairly certain that sm2's audience would not like that.
i think resetting perks promotes skill, since you can't rely on something specific to carry you like bulwark's hp refill, while also keeping lower difficulties populated, which is important for game's longevity,
But at the end of the day we need to see of course, technically 1->25 is something like 8? ruthless games, so 48 games per class to finish leveling. To me it is a bit too long of an intro before actually starting to enjoy the end-game (not to mention that is just 1 class), but who knows what they really do.
