New classes in future update
Hi, just some ideas i've been brainstorming. Any suggestions or ideas better than mine are welcome of course. (These are mostly geared towards Operations in my head)

Apothecary- Bolt Pistol & chainsword, No main weapon, ability is heal 75% of missing health of either themselves or another player.

Librarian- Bolt pistol and a new force sword weapon, no main weapon, ability is shooting lightning like you're Palpatine.

Chaplain- Bolt or plasma pistol with new Crozius weapon, no main weapon, ability of increasing damage output of team mates by 30% (Can go higher or lower just thought 30% sounded fair).

For librarian, i think lightning should be more tied to his normal attacks, his primary would be his staff, give him a bolt pistol and no melee. And his special skill would be a place able bubble shield.

Librarians being Psykers for sure dont need any gun i mean they can use them but it would be better to not give them that option so they could stick with force or shock dmg

after bolt weapons get reworked i would love to see them add the Sternguard class, on the table top its the other side of the vanguard, Bolter based with their trademark ammo selector magazine, grants ability to switch to different types of specialised bolter ammo for different roles/foes
e.g Fragment Rounds gives a small AOE on hit - better at clearing out swarms of fodder,
weak against armoured foes.
Kraken Penetrator Rounds trades damage against none armored foes to have better
damage against heavy armoured ones, good for foes like Tyranid Warriors and Chaos
Marines.

I don't see that happening simply because it'll be too similar to tactical. If they try something like this it'll get incoporated into Tac (I reckon anyway).

Dunno about no melee weapon but a staff as a main does sound pretty cool.

i hope for the long term they flesh out the pvp with even more races, they could monetize it easily but it would be a lot of balancing work

It would work like how heavy does.

My current logic is in nearly every instance in the lore that's had Librarians fighting they've had a close combat weapon. Mephiston during the invasion of Baal, Tigurius and some codicier who's name eludes me during the Plague wars, Librarian Vey in the new Exorcists book etc. I simply think no close combat weapon while not an issue wouldn't be lore accurate.

(Yes i am a lore autist lol)

They would swing their staff like a heavy swings his gun.

Well with librarian they could tie abilities to different weapon slots through Tomes like in DOW 2.
