Power Fist is awful
Anyone else notice this? Most weapons feel pretty good, but the Power Fist sticks out as being really, really bad. The only thing good about it is the dash attack is sweet looking. The damage is way too low for its short range and long windup. Thunder hammer also has a long windup but at least it actually deals damage and has good range.

I'm pretty sure power fist being useless is part of the reason people are saying the Assault class kinda sucks (it does).

Game has major balancing issues. Some classes are a complete joke compared to others (looking at you assault and vanguard) as they die easily when swarmed and have no means of self healing beside killing and the crappy stim that heals like 25% of your health.

Melta shotgun on the other hand deletes mobs in 1 shot, can heal you beyond the health you lose and makes every melee wep in the game seem like a pool noodle you float on....

So far I've been having the most luck on Sniper class, though that's a given. Sniper is always top-tier in any video game it shows up in. Tactical is close second, then Heavy, then Bulwark, then Assault and Vanguard share the title of "literal suicide past difficulty 2"

Yes sniper is good for killing elites but tactical ability is prob the best in the game and out of all the AI, Bulwark is the best not even close. I have done mission with brain dead partner and AI Bulwark on hardest diff.

But with such little content and major balancing issues, game is going to need A LOT of patches/dlc.

Yeah, pretty much this. Power fist is like punching with a inflatable boxing glove. Sure it looks cool and makes you feel awesome, but its an inflatable boxing glove. It really isn't hurting anything or anyone.

It's too slow for anything other than swinging it about, I've tried it I do like it but can never get the combos out as as said far too slow.

After i am stuck with Thunderhammer leveling i tried Powefist out... (Need Dificulty 3 Armor Data, but i don`t want to bother ohters there) Well Parry doesn`t work as well as with Hammer or Cahinsword for me. Maybe as Bullwark it is easier to handle i don`t know.
But Leveling that Weapon isn't fun at the moment.
Maybe in Solomode... at least others have not to bother with you,,

Vanguard has the melta shotgun, so is it good and has healing, or bad and doesn't?

For every melee weapon, the best and often only strategy is just parry and counter.

Light strikse usually cannot efficiently stagger enemy, heavy strikes often equal suicide in high difficulties.
For the power fist, yes their attacks are awful, but in high tier they are good parry weapon.

Assault class becomes playable in high difficulties only after lv 23: they are finally granted the ability to quickly recharge jumpack.

In my opinion, stagger ability to quickly control mobs of elites is the key factor that decides whether a weapon/class is good. Melta is not very op, it's the bolters and melee weapons need to be buffed to get similar mob control ability.

And yes, we desperately need more hp recovery. I do not understand why they restrict hp recovery in a game where missions could last 30-50 minutes long, anything could happen.

With a team it may not be a problem, but it's not always easy to find a team, especially when you want to play a rather weak class.
