Psyker Class when?

The psykers have always fascinated me while trying to find as much warhammer lore as i can, and i will say this: i think a psyker class would do VERY nicely. I can see it having it's armor being adorned with robes and hoods much like the bulwark, as for weapons: Bolt Pistol, Plasma Pistol, Power Sword and a new one "Power Axe". For signature ability i'm not sure just yet but it could have it's unique twist by being able to disappear and reappear else where when dodging, mimicking teleportation.

As a bonus, it's chaos counter-part can be the Thousand Sons with the cosmetics of that faction being available via unlock, at least for emblems and colors. Hope Saber is gonna be reading this :)

Librarian is what you are looking for and I believe that is one of the classes we could possibly see.

Librarians have a cool look and most chapters utilise them. Think massive psycic augmenting collars and cool wizard staffs.

Not possible as a space marine since all Psyker marines are turned by chaos and are the sorcerers u see in game, if anything they would have to bring either tech-marines or Apothecary marines as of this point of time in the space of warhammer they make the most sense

factually incorrect, most chapters have librarians which are psykers.

Nearly all chapters have psykers both loyalist and heretic alike

Yeah, they are called Librarians. Most Chapters have a few.

based on what i read about, Librarians are more common in the ranks of the Dark Angels. I may be wrong but i'm still looking into it.

Im curious to see how they would tie in warp powers to your abilities. Perhaps make it tied to "TOMES" giving you a variety of attacks on heavy attacks forgoing a pistol weapon for more warp attacks etc etc. With the current setup i can see us having atleast 3 warp abilities. Maybe give them a unique capability and that is to swap out your Class ability for the Librarian.

I don't think psykers are connected to the warp, let alone a librarian, but i'm still learning

All psykers are connected to the warp and manifesting their powers always comes with the risk of spontaneous head explosion or daemonic possession. Librarians are just better trained and have more mental fortitude than your normal bog standard psyker.
