i still cannot understand how people complain about this so much, literally like 70% of games on Steam don't support widescreen, yet you buy a monitor that doesn't work with all these games, and then you are still surprised it doesn't work?

You are so wrong, most games do support Ultra wide. The ones that don't usually have a mod or work around, but this "AAA" console port decided it wasn't important.

The patch is in the pipeline and will soon be published. I waiting for it too. :)

the ultrawide fix is coming before Monday 30th, if they keep their promise. Same situation for me, Im not playing it without ultra wide mod.

I don’t know about 70% but I can’t think of any game that I was unable to play in UW in past 12 months except for couple like this one or any FromSoft title. There are olden and lesser known games that support it just fine. So yes - it is an issue.

i am literally right, most games on Steam do not support widescreen, i can go on any non triple A game right now and it will not support widescreen, if you still buy a widescreen monitor then you shouldn't be surprised that many games don't work.

you guys just lack any kind of common sense and logic, its like buying a PS5 and then complaining you can't play games that are Xbox exclusive, you choose to buy it, you have to live with it.

Its frustrating when you cannot afford something nice like a widescreen high refresh monitor. Thanks for your input that you are jealous of others wanting better support for their equipment.

Video games will only display resolution options up to the max resolution currently selected on your monitor, as selected in the OS's screen settings menu. if you don't have an ultrawide monitor, most games will not display the option to you. That's why you can't tell how many games support 21:9 just from looking at options.
