Yes collateral damage is to be expectet when fielding an Eversor, but they have clear Targets and Objectives, they just dont spaz out and attack everyone.
Only issue with that is that a Eversor Assassin is not a Space Marine and the game is named Space Marine.
Eversor assassins act exactly like that. They are basically the human equivalent of walking bombs that you send in when collateral damage is of no importance (or you want to make a point). They have a drug cocktail running inside them that is specifically designed to instill a psychotic rage in them.
They are kept in cryo-suspension between missions, not only to preserve their bodies but also to prevent them from killing people.
Sure they have a target and they will go for that target, but once they get going (drug cocktail pumping through their blood and all that) anything that they run into on the way dies.
You guys take everything to serious ;-)
Well, its for fun :P Lore nerds (including myself in the term) love discussing the lore.
