Sad that this has to be said, but lets go to the codex "The first Custodes codex in 8th went through the lore & creation process with consistent use of gender, referring to them as 'sons of the emperor' and 'a brotherhood'. "It is known that all Custodians begin their lives as the infant sons of the noble houses of Terra" The God Emperor over saw everyone of them if not most of their births, he was the only master of making them, each one a work of art never to be repeated, he could have made a female, but he did not. Now that he is on the golden throne who is making them? Glad you asked, it's Angenitist they have a passing knowledge as it states. For example it took 200 years for the Emerpor to make 10,000. It took them 9,000 years to make 9,000. So for a female custodian to be possible one: the Emperor didn't make them. 2: people who can't make them efficiently suddenly goes an entirely different route with the Emperor's "mastery of genetic alchemy" (Emerpor's words) and do it on an entirely new biology, when not even female space marines have been made, and do so successfully. In other words GameWork shop contradicts itself in impossible ways, and should leave what was written during the Unification wars well enough the **** alone. Thank you and cheers

yeah, this is BS and you know it. it's not Amazon doing it. GW's been infiltrated by the wokies for a long time, and they've been chipping away at the foundations ever since.
don't get me wrong, Amazon is rotten to the core as well, but GW doesn't need them to do sh*t like this.
There's been some rumor about how the fluff blurb about the fem custodes was the work of a rogue editor that submitted the codex to production with the piece in it without approval from higher ups, and that's why we got what we got. I could almost believe it, but then WH+ comes out with The Tithe ep 2 with the big woman. The production of animation of that quality takes a long time, and it was probably already in the works even before the codex was sent to the printers. That alone is proof that this wasn't the work of some lone editor that decided to "stick it to the chudz" but came with the approval of the lore department.
Blaming it on Amazon is pointless, because they're been complicit.
I remember the fandom cheering for victory when the new HH rulebook came out and it had the piece about space marines being all male because the geneseed. It was never about GW pushing back against the wokes. The just know that they subvert their posterboy faction, they massively lose out on sales.
Just look at AoS with female stormcasts and their strong independent woman haircuts.
