is there a way to mod some performance out of the game. frame gen? some optimization? Nexus mods didn't have a frame gen mod

You can try lossless scaling frame generation.
Works great for me.

im runnin 13400f and 4070 super. the performance of the game really surprised me. the game is so cpu heavy that lowering the graphical settings literally do not do anything for me lol. even up scaling gives kinda low fps gains....

My only thought is make sure its running on a SSD since it is required for this game, not a suggestion. Past that, update drivers and all the usual is all that comes to mind.

Type Lossless Scaling into the store search, its the one with the yellow duck All the info is on there,

I use it other games and it does help. Not used it with SM2 but will give it go,

I use lossless scaling for frame gen. Works like a charm.

Wait until they release the dlss3/fsr3 patch which will bring frame generation for modern nvidia/amd cards.
