Report a translation problem
The worst by far is Heavy parrying, and the default non-fencing Hammer. Heavy parry feels so incredibly awkward and mistimed it hurts my brain.

Assault gets a bonus 50% to perfect dodge timing.
Fairly certain the weapon is irrelevant and the only thing that matters is the parry type on the weapon (To clarify, there are almost certainly different parry types on different combat knives, just like every other weapon type has variations with the different types).
