Dawn of War owners
Did anybody else who owns "Dawn of War" suddenly get all DLC's or some selective DLC's that you never owned all of the sudden for free? I find it weird that Games Workshop would suddenly be soooooooo generous.

Its pretty common actually, They are selling the anniversary edition for $10 which i assume has all the DLC and delisted the DLC's so you have probs been upgraded to Anniversary edition.

Apparently Sega must of had something to do with it and took it off steam. No more Dawn of War 1 on steam or sumthin. I thought it was a ploy from Games Workshop to entice more people to play or buy new games (such as Space Marine 2). That........or like I've said before, this seems like the workings of Tzeench. Female Custodes, Guilliman's b!tch @ss Primaris, Lion El Johnson's return but not Vulkan, Trump get shot like he a 1990's rapper, micro plastics shrinking babies taints thus makin them into b!tches.

just seems like it's all getting too weird.

So when I saw I got free Warhammer 40k stuff....I got suspicious

Most of the Flak GW catches comes from their terrible PR Department and Mismanagement by Executives. StOnEd is right about it just being a common thing with new releases from Franchises. People like the old stuff and they'll still buy it? Do some stuff with it and maybe more people will buy it.

I think you can safely Apply Occam's Razor to this Situation (The Correct Answer is often the most simple or straightforward). Sadly with how Polarizing Real World Events are now, I don't blame you for your assumption, man

I would not be surprised if they had more DLC being worked on. The price *is* a bit gouging though I agree, so I'd see what they put out, and if it doesn't really seem worth while, you can always wait for a sale.

Had a look and this is on the Dawn of War 2 news:

"The fan-favourite and legendary release of Dawn of War and Dawn of War 2, originally developed by Relic Entertainment in 2004 and 2009 respectively, have just turned 20 and 15 years years old! To celebrate, we’ve put together two Anniversary Editions, collecting the original game with all its DLC and expansions, as well as a host of fun extras for fans. To celebrate 20 and 15 years of these seminal titles, the Anniversary Editions will be a free upgrade for all existing owners of Dawn of War 1, and Dawn of War 2!

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II Anniversary Edition now includes:

- Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II
- Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Retribution
- Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Chaos Rising
- All additional DLCs such as exclusive multiplayer army skins, and campaign and Last Stand wargear previously only available as DLC packs."

Probably some Licence agreement ended and they can't monetize it anymore, so they released everything for free

Thanks SEGA

So Sega can not only make Sonics but provide online servers?

I looked into it, and just bought dawn of war 1 and 2. So this post was a great heads up because those games are 80% off right now.
