Heavy needs a melee

While I agree that a melee sounds intrigueing on the heavy class, being all about heavy guns is what makes him unique. And I actually like the challenge of him being heavily dependant on ammo control. Same goes for bulwark. Their limitations make them unique and interesting to use.

I'm mauling down everything as it is. Dodge, maul, doge, maul and repeat. I didn't find myself in need for melee as Heavy.

Speaking of heavy weapon melee, are Primaris weapons Ogryn-proofed or something? Cuz I'd assume that if you swung around a firstborn Devastator weapon like that, it'll have some pretty frequent jammong

His charged stomp attack is one of the best melee attacks in the game, especially if you get the double stomp perk.

You can spam stomp without an end and even give it 20% more damage, thats enough ;-)

Heavy had no melee in first game, Heavy had no melee in Eternal Crusade, heavy does not need melee, he is the melee.

the only time I find myself wanting a melee is against those dudes that use their arms as shields and that's just cause of my main weapon of choice and if my tm are nice they'll take them out for me

You can melee your big gun into their little heads and parry. He also seems to have bigger stompy feet. You can also do a roll jump attack when evading. He is more than capable of 1v1 fighting to save himself, he isn't meant to be in the thick of it.
