intro cut scene freeze up

i have spent 3 hrs trying to even log into the game and cant even get past the intro cut scene wit out it seizing up and glitching out audio keeps going but video stops is there a work around for this is is this something ppl have to wait for a fix on it??

Make sure the game is saved on a ssd, disable steam overlay, and verify files.

its on ssd no overlays and already did verify after the eos issue

so i did do this there was no effect it still is doing it

what i found to work was when the intro cutscene starts spam ESC itll pause the game. you will then see a loading resorces on the bottom. it seems to try and load the game and run a high fps cutscnene at the same time. turn your frames way down as well to help get to the point you can pause the game. took me 2.2 hours to figure it out.

I still get it a lot, but things that work for me are,

1.) Making sure the .exe files are set to run as administrator. This includes not only the game launcher itself, but things like the EasyAntiCheat launcher.
2.) Going into the %appdata% folder and deleting the 'EasyAntiCheat' folder from the roaming folder there. I have to do this every time I launch the game annoyingly.
3.) Closing all background applications. I feel like EasyAntiCheat just doesn't like certain programs, like Razer Synapse for instance.
4.) Verifying the integrity of the game files. Occasionally the above methods don't work, and only verifying the game files fixes it. Perhaps files get corrupted when it crashes? I don't know.
5.) Not pressing anything when the game is loading. Wait till you're past the seizure warning and you see things like the AMD logo before doing so.
6.) Persistence. Sometimes it just takes multiple attempts of the above, before the game just randomly decides to work.

So yeah, sadly the game just has serious problems launching. I have a 4090 Strix, an i9 13900k, 64GB of RAM and it's installed on an NVMe drive. I've made sure I've got the latest drivers and everything as well, and the game runs fine once it actually loads, with zero issues. Hopefully they fix it soon.

ive seen this on redit as a work around for some but it crashes my game if i do that i turned all over lays off the game was installed on ssd i verified the files after the whole eos issue and using TAA at 60 fps on a medium preset while using the spam ESC wats also aggrivating is when i have to reload the game the loading resources jus take ages to get past

Also happens with me, suggestions also dont work for me. Would expect this not to be a problem for the price you buy it for

i finally found out that if u move it to ur main operating system drive for ssd that thats the ssd u need to have it on ive actually finally got into play so try transfering the file from 1 ssd to the operating 1 if it IS NOT installed on that drive hopefully this may have been the fix u r looking for my friend

Check Where your Game is stored. a Friend and i Were checking My PC Due to the intro Freeze, in the requirement Specs (In Game Page) It specifically said to Have the Game in an SSD (Solid State Drive) once it moved it to SSD drive, Game ran With no issues.
