How do weapon mastery works?

Do I have to level each variant for a mastery point?

You can use an armory data to instantly level them. I don't play with weapons I don't like. Just equip them hit master in the same window and don't forget to switch your weapon back which i have done more then once.

Yes that is how you unlock the other skills for master crafted relic and whatever the other rank of weapon is 👍👍

You can instantly level them also. just need one armory pont.

That's true thank you though it is fair to note that it needs to be that armory data of the same rank as the weapon so new players don't try to farm low level missions to fast level higher level weapons lol

It has to be the same weapon data as the weapon. So if you're using master crafted (green) the green data shards work, but you need purple for the next rank and gold for the last etc
