REMOVE CLASS RESTRICTIONS
The class restrictions do not do anything for the players or you the developers. If we want to have an all Assault Class party then we should be able to have it. I see no logical or monetary gain by doing this. It's already really hard to get into a match as it is. The game is fun but FFS PvE doesn't need to be regulated the way it is.

This is necessary for balance; three assault boiz with hammers can beat any difficulty with ease, not to mention other combinations. Each class covers the vulnerabilities of another, thus encouraging players to work as a team.

nah we all just want to have fun, and they said they would add a new difficulty

any class combination can beat any difficulty with ease, 3 assaults wouldn't be much different than bulwark heavy vanguard.

Yea, good luck working with a random Bulwark that only heals him/herself, Heavy grabbing all ammunitions, Assault hunting med kits and so on.

Wouldn't work with the narrative, because each class is a specific character. And they already said that the class system for now stays this way. They might add exceptions for private lobbies tho.

Removing the limit means to change the balance, Imagine 3 snipers with stackable cooldown reduction skill, they would go perma invisible, or 2 snipers and a tac spamming aruspex.

Yes, my thought exactly!!! Remove class restriction will only kill the game as it is now!

But if you wane do something good. Make the game 200% more diffcult and open up for a 4 and 5 man squad!

And so what?

it's PvE, let people play how they want

Its not just class restriction.

We are playing very specific, named personas.
Unless cloning technology suddenly is applied to Space Marines, it makes no sense.

Than there is dialogues and "banter" as well.

Favorite argument of all cheaters.
I've been playing online for more than 25 years, and this argument ALWAYS comes from people who refuse to play by the rules, every single damn time.

I don't want to see that potential game breaking stuff in matchmaking.

If they consider unlocking classes they should limit it to private games and disable progression for that.

Besides that we don't play as random classes with nameless marines behind it, but as named characters, that are featured in the campaign and have unique banter in the missions.

You don't play as a random Vanguard, you play as Decimus who happens to be a Vanguard of the Ultramarines.
You don't play as a random Heavy, you play as Straban.
Sniper is Scipius, Bulwark is Quartus, and so on...

It's basically like in Vermintide, where you play as Bardin, Kruber, and so on. It doesn't make sense to have multiple Krubers, does it?

Then block those randoms. Not even connected to OP's point.
MADARA Oct 8, 2024 @ 5:07am
no bc each class is its own named space marine, you cant have 3 times the same guy in a mission
Apollo Oct 8, 2024 @ 5:12am
NO "Remove Class Restricions" period! Aint gone happen in SM2! What they need to do is make the game much much muuuuuch harder! Like the Aurirc Malestorm lvl's in Darktide!
