You usually see this being said about every single game out there which releases its new gameplay content as free updates.
It's the usual thing of the big industry not looking kindly at studios and games which try to rock the status quo. So the shills and astroturfers come crawling out of the woodwork, social engineering malcontent towards the new and more fair monetization models.
you like over paying for content because you have assets? i don't think you own a house at all
