error code 140 all over the place

been trying to play for 40 min, nothing.
no team, back to title screen, play with cross play on and off, restart the game, restart my router....
literally wasting 40 min on loading screen searching server, error connection massage.

whats going on??

I am having the exact same issue. Played fine last night. Gone to play today and error code 140..

I am running the game through geforce now streaming service. All other games work fine.

Stream to the game works fine as I can play solo campaign..

Checked their services and it says not down for maintenance.. what is going on

This game is total online shirt Cause of netcode is garbage. The full game is garbage which is not cost of even 10 bucks

anyone have any luck resolving this. Werirdly im only having it on fall of atreus on ruthless. Works fine on all other missions and works on fall on substantial and below

So mine seems to be sorted by re-enabling crossplay. Not ideal for me as it seems anytime i join in with console players there's latency issues for the match, but oh well.

I wondered if it wasn't related to the Windows 24H2 update, because I have the impression that the problem appeared (or got worse ?) at that time.
But if that's the case I don't understand what the link would be between Windows and this in-game connection problem (?)
I thought that today's Hotfix 3.1 would have solved the situation, but it's still the same.

I only have 23H2 and same problem here so not related to update.

For error 140 the solution I saw was turning off crossplay. Earlier today I was receiving that error intermittently. I turned off crossplay and haven't received again today. Not sure if that did the trick or not or was just coincidental but it's worth a try.
