Seconded, sharing is caring.
Fun times.
Also ignores the difference in difficulty. No reason I should have to bring my crappy Bulwark to a higher difficulty mission because the devs are too lazy to code a matchmaking system that makes sense.
Some people also have lives and want to spend their time playing the way they want. No reason not to make it easier. The amount of times I've swapped to another class to let a teammate play the one they want, and then they drop out or DC after a couple minutes...nah, no thanks.
There was some occasions I selected the highest difficulty in operations with my strongest class and then I was forced to play something else without any leveling.
That is why you need to level up at least three classes, so you always have something you can swap to when solo queuing.
Devs are working on an improvement that will stop placing players into matches that have the same class, but until then you have to level up three classes at least.
I have been leveling all six myself, as I wanted the Steam achievements too.
That doesn't solve the issue of it being annoying when you wnat to paly a specific lcass and the matchmaker then keeps tossing you into teams where it's already taken.
Personly I change and let the other level.
He wants to play a certain class. So he should be able. Bunch of fking lunchboxes in here
That's why devs are implementing that improvement, so people don't get matched with the same class anymore. They made a statement about it a while ago.
But that is probably going to take months at least. So in the meanwhile, to avoid the issue of being forced to take a level 1 class, players need to focus on leveling at least three classes.
We have a long time until the fix comes, so what is the point raging about it? It's not going to make it happen any faster.
Pretty sure this guy hasn't given a single serious reply though. Whenever I see that profile pic the post is something like "skill issue".
