you missed it you must not have been paying attention it ties into the plot of space marines 2, so tzeentch protected him but wasn't corrupted through his will and the the emperors protection. also why you see the 1000 sons in space marines 2, and why the emperor saves you again and why you could face something the gray knights normally fight at the end of the story
