The Art and Making of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2
Does anybody remember when this kind of stuff used to be an Easter Egg in the game?
Collect art to view it.
Collect music to listen.

"NEO : The World Ends With You" has the same thing for THEIR game, but it doesn't cost money.
It's part of the game they want to show you because they think it's cool.

"We used this art to make the game you paid for... now pay us to look at the art."

I guess this company doesn't have faith in how good their own product is... or they have TOO MUCH faith.

Either way, this trend of DLC-itis is sickening.

---

Does anybody remember when a game was complete before release?
...because they couldn't patch/update it online?
If there was a bug, it was there forever, and devs were responsible for their own product.

E.T. would have been fine if it got a few patches and 50 DLC worth $20 a piece.
...wait...
No...

So... maybe stop doing it with every modern title... and if you ♥♥♥♥♥ about how much more "Complex" games are these days, I'll remind you that Borderlands 1 has fewer lines of code than Final Fantasy 7.

I'd rather they make money this way, than splitting the player base by charging for maps / playable content.

Its definitely more expensive to maintain an online PvE / PvP game, whilst keeping it interesting in the long run, than a single player game, And often even those have paid DLC.

So yeah, given a choice, I like this approach tbh
