Is the Aquilan Dedication chainsword supposed to suck?
I know about the bugged fencing but even when that's fixed, it's a Relic tier weapon that does less damage than it's lower tier equivalent and it's other stat bonuses are barely an upgrade. These are it's stated stats:

Strength: 10, Speed: 4+, Cleave: 3+

the Artificer tier fencing equivalent's stats are:

Strength: 11+, Speed: 2+, Cleave: 3

The other chainswords in Relic tier have 14 and 15 strength and the other chainswords in Artificer tier have 9 strength. The standard-issue chainsword has the same speed and only a "+" less cleave than the Relic tier fencing chainsword that gives up a minimum of 4 strength to get those, HOW? They have already shipped a patch and it's still like this so i'm left to assume this is the intended "balance" they are going for.

Please make it make sense, i really want to understand the reasong behind this.

have you used it ? like maybe the stats don't appear that impressive in armory but during gameplay i do think it is very good weapon

The stats are better than it appears, 4+ speed is a huuuuge buff honestly, and you won't miss the 1.5 strength.

Excellent contribution, really sold me on your opinion with " its " XD

Would you please elaborate? I've used them both quite a bit since I main the melee classes and I genuinely love the speed increase, you're not losing much damage but your swing speed gets a very nice boost and you have better cleaving which is very important in hordes.

I prefer the faster swing of the Relic version. Why? Because a normal swing of that weapon can actually catch a Minoris enemy normal attack mid-jump and knock it away or kill it before it does damage. The slower swing of the Artificer version can't do that.
