Power Hammer, Chainsword, and Power Fist.
Is there any legitimate reason to use the PH or PF over the Chainsword? After playing a lot of Assault, I feel like the only useful melee is the Chainsword, especially considering how it already outdamages both with ease once you reach the relic category. Why are there no Hammers or Fists that out damage a sword? You'd think the Power Hammers (And hell, even the snipers and las fusils) would be able to reach up to that twenty damage mark BASE without perks.

I've reached level 25 with the Sniper and find it wild that a lot of guns at Relic just seem to all mold into this same damage range without much unique beyond perks. You'd think some weapons would innately just do vastly higher damage because of their lower ammo count and slower fire rate?

the stats are less in relation to every weapon and just that particular weapon type. a 14 damage pistol is still going to do a hell of a lot less damage than a 14 damage las fusil

Fun is subjective what is fun for one might not be fun for all.

I play games for fun, if I want to have fun running about with a big hammer or a huge fist then I will run about with said items and you know have fun.

Power hammer is great. If it doesn't one tap the nids you knock them and stun them setting up multiple for the next cleaving swing. Fencing hammer does great in surrounded by mobs. Take the skill that recharges your jet pack when killing enemies with ground pound and use it to slaughter dozens of minoris nids and you'll easily be able to recharge your boost pack over and over. I've chained like 5 or 6 jumps in a row in some more massive waves. Hammer does good stunning warriors too
