What did you do to ruthless mode?
I'm sorry guys but difficulty tuning should only be for the other one.
I'm running around with a lvl 15 and green weapon and It's a walking simulator now.
No enemies. no intensity, the "massive enemy waves" have like 50 mobs,

Look at what they did to my boy.

Ruthless was sweaty palms, can't miss a parry or ill be half health, quick switch to the range enemies harassing us, then back to melee. Now im just running around with not a care in the world.

It's worst offense, It's boring.

No more last stand moments. Nothing palpitating. This mode was never meant to be played at low level and ungeared.

Please do something about the director.

This is an active warzone and we're operating behind ENEMY lines, not just any enemy btw, Tyranids and Chaos. They should be on us more at Ruthless, they should be 'ruthless' basically xD

well apprantly casuals are saying sub is now harder then ruthless this patch even tho the game was easier befor
Casuals will complain about anything when a slight surge of difficulty is forced.

It was not difficulty it was just bullet sponging and lack of damage from our weapons but casuals did not know what they wanted prior to this patch.

i like the balance changes they brought in but good good I am not FACING enough Tyranids 9/10 of every ruthless match

1/10 times, finally 8-10 tyranid warriors alongside a massive horde of Gaunts will spawn and we're having a blast.. and then it ends and nothing spawns for the next 25 minutes

The AI director gives you far too much of a breather in Ruthless, I literally am not running out of pistol rounds on my BULWARK of all classes while firing nonstop at enemies i see.
but by brigs logic the ai director spawns enemies based on your max level even more so for nids he-he cant be wrong!

That just my experience as a solo player. I from time to time play with others and i notice that i don't get swarmed as much when i do and that. I just figured its cause all my character are over lvl 10 5 of them are 20 or over and most times im in a lobby with a 15 or lower character as teammates.

and by your experiance you know how the game works at a tech level of how ai works but still struggle on ruthless having to master only 2 buttons on most telegrahed attacks that give you big blue and red circle

People complained that chaos wasnt fun to fight which the shield demons were bs but because of that they took it to the extreme and lowered spawn number for chaos.

I respect the sentiment of: we don't wanna fry your pc with too many enemies

Cool, at least spawn them at a higher frequency on the map and reduce that downtime.

a homeless man with a mob is more threatening then the enemys this patch

nerfing enemies will be fine as long as you make it up with something else

increased SPECIAL spawns

increased big enemies

increased hordes

increased intensity throughout the operation

make us actually sweat for once.

one thing i am amazing in is melee combat and there actually aren't enough ranged troops to make me fear them.

they might have for ruthless idk im use to substanial cause i got most of my guns up to purple i think i might have like 5 that arent. the power fist, both bolter type sniper rifle for sniper and the plasma.

Cool, at least spawn them at a higher frequency on the map and reduce that downtime.

This approach reminds me of L4D. You would have moments in game where once you trigger something, the game throws enemies at you endlessly and your task is simply to fight your way through it. The concept is fun, but I fear it would trigger 2 responses:

1. Roll to safety and skip this "bs" part.
2. "Too hard, impossible to get through, can't kill everything, nerf it."

Game would defo become more interesting though if after destroying the rocks in Inferno and facing one massive wave/boss until you get to the armory + gate (outside zone just before you head to generators IIRC) you'd instead face a more consistent trickle of enemies you have to consistently battle, which have better ability at slowing you down and punishing speedrunning ... ... which the game doesn't have sadly.

i mean casual thought the game was too hard befor and now substantial is too hard for them i doubt they will do this im expecting the next patch to be a nerf because quote sub is too hard they do another nerf were i can play the game with my feet

when you mean new diffculty you mean old ruthless because they pre nerfed lethal befor it even came out wich ruthless wasnt hard to begin with level 15 and purple gear recommended to beat ruthless
