Yes.
They're equipped with Boltstorm or Flamestorm Gauntless, and can also have Fragstorm Grenade Launchers which are moutned on top of their Armor.

All classes can equip all weapons with exceptions.
- Only Heavy can equip heavy weapons
- Only Assault can equip Hammer
- Only Sniper can equip Laz sniper
- Nothing for Bulwark because I can't play him but still want to use power sword
- Vanguard doesn't really have anything special other than the burst rifle
Something like this for the Heavy:
Heavy Bolter / Heavy bolt Pistol / Combat knife
or
Auto Bolt Rifle / Plasma Pistol / Power Sword
Combat knifes are standard equipment for tactical and scouts by firstborns. So for primaris tacticals combat knifes are standard equipment too.
Combat knifes for tacticals in SM 2 would add more diversity in gear selection. I support your informal request.
