Pro tip when playing horde shooters, always be aware of your surroundings
If you see a group of majoris pull up and i understand the game is super easy right now but your still not entirely invincible you need to back up and let your team chip in.
With a fencing weapon you can solo 4 or 5 warriors in melee quite easily. It is a challenge, you just need to overcome it. Nothing wrong with the game in this particular regard. I notice you talk about trying to dodge. try to parry more perhaps. Parry is the key in this game.
You can also back up and make sure you don`t end up in this position if your class isn`t great at melee.
Orange = 1 hit so dodge
Blue = 2 hits so you gotta parry twice
He's talking about unblockable orange attacks. Parrying does nothing against those.
I've noticed that as well. What's more strange is, it seems like timing doesn't matter at all for those follow up hits, you can spam parry and it gets them all. No timing necessary. It's the same for the ravener flurries.
What about when you don't miss them, but there are three red notifications on top of each other? The i frame on the dodge isn't long enough to pick up the second and third, so you just get wrecked.
no way in hell you ever see 3 red notifications at the same time, it just doesnt happen, some attacks have follow ups though, but they can all be dodged if u dont just spam dodgeroll but use the backstep.
also im 100% sure gunstrike comes out fast enough after a perfect dodge to stagger anything around, that is not a terminus
and you can do multiple perfect parries against at least 4 warriors in a row even without a fencing weapon
you can chain parries and backsteps together to make space as well and build armor that way now, dont need to use gunstrikes all the time
all these posts come down to skill issues in the end, you guys need to stop playing with lasfusils and meltas, and need to stop running away from every swarm into the elevators and actually try playing the game, maybe you figure it out.
I hated it, but the end of the mission kinda redeemed it all. Damn the carnage you can do with the jetpacks! :D Loved that. ^^
