they did make them better but they're still kinda meh. They're way more likely to execute now instead of letting enemies recover.
Would be nice if they had perks and better weapons based on the difficulty.
It really would be nice to be able to pick your bot classes. I'd pick sniper and bulwark every time.
I tried a couple solo games the night I had my wisdom teeth taken out. Figured that, between all the changes, I'd be able to handle it myself on one of my level 1 characters.
On every attempt, in every wave, I was constantly staring down 5 - 10 warriors and every 'gaunt in the swarm running straight at me, sometimes with micro-bosses like lictors and raveners focusing on me. I couldn't even get a good look at what the bots were doing because I had to spend so much of it rolling backwards.
Getting misloaded into Decapitation so I could fight the hive tyrant by myself as a level 1 Bulwark - well, I was asking myself if I wanted to just go find more teeth to get pulled instead.
