Off topic fun questions about peak power of Astartes.

Astarte's (like Calgar) the best of the best are extremely powerful but how would they hold up against more mainstream super heroes we see in film and comics. Like would an elite level Astarte's have a chance against say Superman or the Hulk or Thor?

They're around B tier superheroes, while certain Primarchs could feasibly body some A Class superheroes.

Named space marine like calgar could probably punish someone like black panther and iron man but falls short of their (Godlike incarnations), and the HULK.

Primarchs like Corvus (Post-Heresy) and Magnus could actually take the likes of a (Non-God) version of superman. But probably not Thor or the Sentry which can just pop planets if they wanted.

Here's the rule of the speedforce, if you don't have darkseid aimbot You can't escape beams, flash solos. ESPECIALLY wally west.

Pretty much the only Imperium stuff that touches speedforce powers is Primarchs, specifically the psykers like Curze or Magnus. I'm not even sure they'd win.

all the heroes you cited are much more primarch or emperor tier opponents. thor or probably the hulk can get bamboozled by mephiston or the ultramarine chief librarian or a grey knight but in a fair 1v1 fistfight i doubt it. chaos champions probably have a better shot at these , like kharn or arhiman or abbadon
i'd say a regular space marine can probably fold the winter soldier or captain america tier of superheroes

Depends on the hero. Everyone without actual superpowers is ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Batman, Ironman, Hawkeye, Black Widow, all of the guardians, Daredevil etc. Smarts and Athletics wont get you very far. Those big marines after all are also very intelligent and fast as ♥♥♥♥.

Superman however can just take a marine - any marine - drop him in orbit and check back once a year if he's dead or still angry. Dr Strange could do something similar.
Since Thor got beaten up by Thanos I cant see him winning against someone like Calgar. A little lightning and that tiny hammer wont do much I imagine.
Hulk could be a fun fight. Finally someone of similar size. While a marine would loose eventually I think most if not all Primarchs wouldn't even break a sweat. Angron vs Hulk would be hilarious :D
The flashs biggest weakness is his inconsistent and mostly really bad writing so I see a similar fate to that of red rush in "invincible"
Spiderman has crazy strength. But he's immature and a seasoned veteran could take advantage of that.
