Still getting crashes

I thought this update would fix this, but obviously it didnt, Anybody getting the same problem? Do the devs know? I cant get through any level without freezing to crashing.

I'm alt-tabbed out right now as I'm stuck in a black screen following a mission. So I've just wasted my time, AGAIN, it seems :(

I've had a lot of issues with this game since day one. Each "patch" seems to attempt fixes on things only to break others and not really fix the original issue in the first place. You are not alone, but the Steam discussions here would make you believe it is your machine.

What the devs have done successfully with SM2 is make a game so un-optimized that it shows potential hardware/OS issues your machine may have that you otherwise might not have seen. So kudos to them for that.

It seems to be a common issue right now? I'm also experiencing an infinite black screen whilst waiting to load into a mission. Nothing to do but alt tab out and close the game.

Idk but ive been crashing since launch every time in operations its just so odd. Personally I think its a problem with x3D chips as everyone in discussions including myself with an X3D chip has had these issues even with all the "fixes" that they release or recommend, disabling overlay etc. i still crash every mission i cant even play pvE only PvP works like 6/10 of the time.

i have a 7 5800x and still crashing

Still crashing since day 2 I think it was, played a few hours day 1 then on particular scenes like hordes spawning seems to do it (I think) might be a CPU issue but I’m now stuck on a mission because of the crashing so can’t progress, even tried a BIOS update today to no avail… currently cannot play the game because of it.
