Is "normal" difficult too easy?
Just started playing and I want to know a good/challenge difficult option to play for the first time. Which one you guys suggest?

Veteran. For intended gameplay experience.

The game is hard in every difficulty until you understand parries, then, the game becomes easy in every difficulty.

The campaign also has several set pieces that will be much easier if you tackle them in a certain way, and very frustrating if you don't, possibly slightly less so now with the bot AI changes.
Other than that, it's mostly a question of how comfortable you are with (frequently) failing as you learn the combat basics between normal and veteran, and how long you want the second half of the campaign to take once you've mastered them.

I dont know how the game plays after the patch
But the game did had some difficulty spikes here and there
Mostly it involves missions where you need to protect something....and then comes 2 Zoanthropes

So Normal Difficulty could help you understand the game mechanics without too much frustration

If you manage to breeze through Protect The Reaktor mission without too much rage - you can switch to Angel Of Death - because it really is not that difficult once you know how the game works

Go for the hardest you can stomach, learn the game mechanics now as the jump in difficulty for operations is considerable. Especially if you want to upgrade past green.

All games are easy unless your prefrontal cortex is not working

Are you freaking serious? Me and my brother just did an average difficulty match on the refinery map. We were at the crane section, and there was a massive horde. Then a lictor spawned, followed by a ravener. Then a freaking CARNIFEX spawned. while that was happening, two of the tyranid warriors summoned TWO ADDITIONAL HORDES. Needless to say, we lost. neither of us had any health, and we hadn't seen a single savior relic the entire match, let alone more than a handful of health stims the entire map.

If that's how bad average difficulty is, than this game is arguably harder than Souls games. You really stand no chance at all of winning, The complete lack of a health regen mechanic makes each mission an attrition warfare experience, where you are guaranteed to die multiple times. And I haven't even tried the higher difficulties yet. Oh, and don't forget that unless you have a full squad of players, if the players die, the match ends, even if the bots are still alive. And you lose everything you worked for in the match.

The game seems designed to frustrate the player and destroy the will to play the game. The campaign is a lot of fun, but good lord do they need to fix the coop mode.

Afyer the nerfs even the hardest difficukty is way too easy for a semi decent player.

Pvp is a completely different game.

you can always change the dificulti after the totorial so i sugest you start at the lowest dificulti

Heavily recommend veteran as well, if you want to have to play decently well to advance anything below veteran is too lenient

They don't have pvp silly. They have a weapon testing mode and PVE. PVP would imply you could parry and use the mechanics in the game to fight other players. They don't have that.
