Cannot load into Operations after patch - Black Screen with battle barge audio

I can only join operations that are already in progress, every time I launch a fresh one from the battle barge the screen goes black.

However, I can join others in progress but as soon as we finish and load up the next one I am forced to quit and restart the game.

Any work arounds? I used to actually load back into the barge and just walk to the ready zone, but that doesn't appear to be possible now.

Instead of displaying the fix for this they made it so you cant skip the beginning logos now because its more important that you see that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ every time you are forced to restart the game
When the black screen happens just run forward for about 5 seconds. Note that at least 2/3 people must do this or you will be stuck on black screen until the host quits
What is happening is that when you go to start the mission everyone is teleported back to the default starting location (middle of the loading deck) which means you are outside the "ready" zone and running forward without touching anything else will get you back into this zone

the logos are only unskippable after booting game after patch since its recompiling shaders. after that you can skip.

game is completely broken for me black screen every time now

In operations you if you can get where the thunderhawk is supposed to be it will teleport you onto the ship but I'm finding it difficult. Maybe walk to the left and move around slowly

it was a bit easier to manage before this update, it used to just return you back to your space marines pov after the ship flying away cutscene without any hud, only way to fix it was to walk to where the "Assemble" area was and stand there till it puts you into the loading screen.
but now, after the update, the screen remains black and doesnt return you to your space marines pov. you still have to move forward into the assemble area its just now you have to do it blind which is dumb

Yeah, same issue. Spent 35min trying to get a game constantly rebooting. Just gave up. Operations is unplayable. They really need to get on top of this issue. Frankly its unacceptable.

Same here, wasted almost an hour trying to start an operation. Disappointing!

Same, cant play at all now it seems. Havent tryed offline but why should i even.
Love the devs and the game world itself! But i cant say this game is worth the buck, atleast not for me... yet. Understand its in prosess and all, at least i think i do based on stuff i read etc, but i would love to have games more stable beforhand. Or is it wrong of me to think that, yes?

I would also add and say i run a poor gaming laptop atm the specs are at minimum. And that is also gonna have its effects, so i bought a new laptop (Lenovo Legion Pro 7) coming soon.

Bought the game today. Could play the turorial mission with no issue. After that, game crashes every time I try to load into a mission. Unplayable.

You can just... in the dark... "all of you" have to just move forward! It sucks because now we cant even see our characters as we did before

I am now able to play online again. What I did (on Win10):

1. Windows Update (maybe not necessary)
2. Steam settings / Downloads / Clear Cache (Steam exits and restarts)
3. Deactivate Firewall
4. Run Warhammer (Files will be downloaded and installed now)

5. Activate Firewall again

At least beforehand you could see what you were doing and move to the Thunderhawk position. They actually made this issue worse in the last patch - talk about a lack of quality control/testing.......*slow claps*
