Season pass - how does it work?
I'm not really into DLC and stuff, but I was wondering how the Season Pass worked for this game. It's 39.99 € just for the Ultramarine pack or the price comprehend also the Dark Angel and the upcoming DLCs? Thanks for any clarification provided!

the season pass / DLC are ONLY cosmetic, every content update that includes levels / missions / playable content will be added for free, the season pass is purely cosmetics that you still need to unlock and pay for in the game

will we be able to purchase the current season pass once season 2 starts or will they be exclusive?

Most likely yes, this is not a timed seasons thing, it's a season pass that containes dlc just that this dlc is cosmetic only.

All gameplay additions are free updates the season pass gives you the cosmetics like chapter specific armour and colours

it being named "Season Pass" while also naming the content drops as Seasons is misleading. The Season Pass is for all DLC that has been announced through to the end of 2025

oh ok so it's not just 40 bucks for SEASON 1 because paying 40 bucks for a bunch of ultramarine and 40 bucks for a bunch of dark angel stuff is WAY too much

Season Pass includes the Cosmetic Chapter stuff for Season 1 to 4. So until about Summer next year.

This means the Ultramarine Stuff, the Upcoming Dark Angel stuff and whatever the next 2 Chapters will be.

Not if you compare it to modern ingame cashhop skins where for example in diablo 4 you pay 25 bucks for 1 single armor skin that only is usable with 1 specific class, an emote that is only usable by that 1 specific class as well and a max of 2 weapon skins that are usable by all classes that can use the respective weapon categories.

wth are you talking about - you're comparing apples and oranges. If you look specifically at the season pass itself, you unlock a bunch of cosmetics as you go... and it's actually about 6x cheaper than the SM2 one.

If SM2 sold skins directly, sure - compare that. But compare both season passes - SM2 is crazy expensive.
