MORE TYRANID CONTENT I BEG OF YOU
Hello!

There have been dozens of posts by players since launch describing issues with the following:
-Players only play tyranid maps
-Not enough content
-Difficulty scaling isnt fun
-'Bullet spongey' enemies on higher difficulties
-'Dont feel powerful enough'

I feel like the devs tried to do too many themes at once with this game, and should have just chosen 1 thing and did that 1 thing well. Both Chaos and Tyranids are half baked enemy concepts at this point - and they need development. Players overwhelmingly dislike Chaos enemies because the damage scaling for enemies at range in higher difficulties is nuts. And Chaos frankly isn't fun to play against. (if you made them less accurate, it would take care of some of the damage issues players are experiencing on higher difficulties. I feel like every chaos cultist, automaton, and sorcerer I fight is an expert marksman).

-Players like killing bugs. They like killing TYRANIDS. They overwhelmingly prefer TYRANID MAPS. So make more of those. PLEASE.
-Your philosophy when approaching difficulty has been to slightly scale up the quantity of enemies and to VASTLY increase the damage and HP. It's not fun for players.
-What we need instead is to see more numerous SWARMS and enemy behaviors. Keep everything extremis and below between a moderate to substantial threat lvl hp and damage scaling, and just throw hundreds of them at players. Players need to feel the power of killing things... shooting a termagaunt with a bolter 5-7 times isnt fun.
-Extremis level enemies need better behaviors. The carnifex especially feels extremely derpy
-Terminus enemies shouldnt be lazily spawning in by themselves.
-A carnifex should spawn in with a swarm of its own with it on higher difficulties...
-and zoanthropes and neuropthropes PER THE LORE would not be floating alone by themselves nearly ever. Psychic nids keep vast ripper swarms around them (again per the lore). Where are the ripper swarms in your ops multiplayer? WHERE ARE THE RIPPERS? They are omnipresent nearly in every swarm advance per the lore. PLEASE put rippers in the game (they also should have collective behaviors when being controlled by zoanthropes etc.)
-More tyranid unit types in general (warrior primes, possibly genestealers, the hive tyrant doesn't even have tyrant guard with him (lol). Like, wow.
-More enemy behaviors. The Lictor is REALLY well done. It has a very unique and differentiated behavior. THIS is what players find fun. Expand this to the other units PLEASE!
-F*ck Chaos I'm here to kill bugs

Thematically I would prefer to fight Chaos over Tyranid. But they did a really bad job making Chaos fun to fight against so Tyranids it is sadly.

Rippers are a gimmick in the campaign. Unless devs give everybody a pocket flamethrower we won't get rippers in operations.

I'm betting one of the next 3 maps coming out is chaos, but it could be two.

Fixed that for ya. They’re utterly pointless troop choice in TT too.

in the lore there is 3 hive fleet undefeated, too massive.
when our captain say, i spare you 3 men, that the most i can do.
hive fleet is like, i spare you billion soldiers, i'm hungry. so no victory is possible on ground against tyrannid, expect come clean after them, or side/scout fleet.

As far as i know, the tyranid invasion is still happening, but chaos has been bested and banished from the area.

There's another one coming I'm sure. It was in the leaked build but only 80% finished. Untextured environments and you weren't able to complete the final objectives. You had to fight your way in to some sewers and up to a defensive point against Tyranid Bio Titans, manually aim some giant turrets and call strikes down upon them while their weapons rained death upon you. Couldn't complete it though as the bio titans weren't finished to move in range and be attacked with the cannons.

It's possible they could make a Gimmick out of the Gimmick and have some intractables on the map you systematically use to bypass the Rippers. Unlikely, but they could do something with it.
