Tactical's plasma is better than heavy's
Is no one gonna say it? Then I will.
Why on earth is plasma incinerator better than heavy plasma incinerator in every way?

It has better damage, better AOE, better ammo economy and ammo reserve in general, and also no gravity for the shots. It is literally a straight up upgrade.

Heavy was my main until I tried tactical and his version of plasma. I am both pissed and confused, this is so stupid.

P.S. Yes, I was trying to make heavy plasma incinerator work instead of running around with Malta all the time. You don't see that every day, eh?

I beg to differ. The difference is IN the fall off or 'gravity'. You'll get it.

well, TS does have a point. There's nothing substantial about a heavy plasma that makes it so much better. Some weapons really need an upgrade, like the heavy bolter aka peashooter and the thunder "wet noodle" hammer that hits with no stagger. How come the same weapons in SM1 had so much more imapct?

It's just better and if you spec properly you always 2 shot Majoris Enemies if you're in the right distance. (Without Auspex) With Auspex you deal a lot of damage and pretty much wreck anything marked - Eveything ruthless tested.

Plasma Incinerator is fun as hell, and you'll always get full ammo back with the perk, since it's just 1 entire mag.

Because for some reason Plasma has damage fall-off.

Perks is everything that buffs Auspex Damage - and you don't need to mark Minoris imo, it's just redundant. It's always between mark on parry or 75% more damage (which is a lot for bigger enemies)

Edit: Spelling

Yeah, I was expecting the heavy plasma to melt everything in front of it in a wide cone. I was very disappointed.

That seems to be very common feeling, I tried to make it work, but compared to bolter or MM, heavy incinerator is just pain and suffering, but on the wrong end of the barrel.

Heavy's plasma needs a bit higher base ammo reserve but once you learn how to use it it shreds everything.

When you play this game back and forth, exspecially when you play the campaign after the operations a few dozen hours later, you can see this was not really tested :-/

This is just some things thrown together in the hopes to please everyone somehow :-/

After 100 hours i was able to be finally totally honest with mysefl ...

Noone can tell me that this is a well thought out project. Im sure i know why they skipped the beta, there was actually far more to do, but deadlines you know :-/

Why do you think every team runs out of ammo in the Neurothrope fight on Inferno, or on any other map. Look at the ammo pool of the sniper or Tactical, its joke. While the heavy runs around with up to 700+ shots for the HB. The sniper is empty after second enemy group without certain perks.

Why some weapons have the same relic skins for all versions (thunderhammer) ...

No recolor for weapons, when all armor parts have it, come on ...

The bolt weapons, noone can tell me a tester has said, yeas they are good xD

Why is there litterally no customization in campaign, while modders made it so easy to implement campaign missions into the operation mode. Was it maybe exactly planned this way, but simply not possible, because of greedy investors wich again could not wait?

It was rushed at the end and you can feel it everywhere :-/

It's just so backwards that heavy armament specialist suffering from having no melee weapon does not have enough firepower to compensate for it.

Multi melta is better than the ordinary variant in some capacity for example, meanwhile heavy plasma is just straight up worse. It takes the same or more amount of charged shots to down a Majoris type enemy when compared with the same tier of regular plasma, I've tested it and I can't wrap my head around this design.
