People playing modded should get their own lobby...
... because most of the mods I encountered are nothing else but cheating and I DONT WANT TO PLAY with subjects like those using such mods and people playing an unmodded game SHOULD NOT get punished for doing so... fix that or refund me my money.

I don't think they can play online?
Thats why people dont use Ultrawide mod and FOV mod online, because EAC bans them.

I might be wrong

They can play online, so far I have seen grenade spamming bulwark and powersword wielding vanguards. Seems lame and invites speed running xp farming speds

are those even mods? Im no expert in this field. but isnt there a clear distinction between Mods and Cheats?

Mods = for my own fun, without bothering another one
Cheats = Changing anything that gives advantage angainst other players
"Greyzone Cheats" = Same as cheats, but bound to single player only

Greyzone because they are technically cheats but don`t harm anybody and most publishers / players don`t care

Some mods are cheats, but not all. Either way, running those in a public Operations game seems kinda pointless so I'm not sure why people would do it. I can tell you after a quick google search that there are trainers out there that just straight up let you max out all of the resources/currencies/weapon and character exp for operations so anyone taking stuff like infinite ammo or invalid weapons on a particular class into a pub game are just trying to ruin the experience for others.

People shouldn't be modding at all until we get private lobbies.

unfortunately if you have more than 2 hours invested into the game, then it is unlikely you get your money back. let us know how it goes though

There should be but cheaters love to conflate the terms so they aren't stigmatized by being, well, cheaters.

That's why they managed to popularize "hackers" or "modders", because on top of that sounding way cooler than cheaters, it makes their tiny PPs hard when being called out as hackers and they think it's morally superior to call it "modding" when being called out for cheating so they go "it's just modding a singleplayer / coop game, man".

I have cheated in singleplayer games and also in coop games with permission of coop buddies, but I have no delusion that I was a modder, much less a hacker.

Says a lot about the cognitive dissonance of sad script kids calling it modding and hacking, doesn't it.

It's blurry. The distinction is basically between stuff like cheat engine (an application that alters values during gameplay) and modification to the actual game (performed before running the game).

Since modification to the game can have exact same results cheats would, you can call those cases both a mod and a cheat.

There are no cheat mods (dont exists). These are real cheaters you have met. They don't use mods.

Anti Cheat does not ban anyone for using mods.
Devs have already stated on twitter that mods are part of the game.

To be fair, this is still largely the developers fault, as we STILL don't have private lobbies or a way to force yourself to be the host yet. These are QoL things that need to happen and should of been there at release.
